- Abstract: Functionalized cyclopentenes are conveniently obtained via stereoselective cyclopropanation reaction of sulfur ylides with 1, 2‐dienes followed by in situ stereospecific MgI2 ‐promoted rearrangement of vinylcyclopropanes.
