- Abstract: In the paper the proposal of methods to determine the failure surface of masonry made of hollow silicate units has been presented. In order to build the numerical model, the material model based on Willam-Warnke failure criterion has been created. To determine this surface, some tests of silicate cylinder in uniaxial, biaxial and triaxial stress state was conducted. Additionally, some tests of hollow blocks of silicate in triaxial stress state were made. These tests allowed to point of the meridians of the failure surface.
