- Abstract : Adjusting adsorption selectivity and separation in photochromic metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) just by external stimuli is highly important but still rare. In their Communication onpage 7900 ff., F. Luo, G.‐C. Guo, and co‐workers employ a photochromic diarylethene unit as a light‐triggered selectivity and separation regulator, leading to ultrahigh adsorption selectivity, for example, for the mixture C2 H2 /C2 H4 .
