Abstract

Abstract : In article number1602559, Minjoon Park, Jaephil Cho, and co‐workers report a new porous nickel‐rich cathode material with a self‐induced transition metals concentration gradient developed by a poly‐styrene bead (PSB) clusters incorporated co‐precipitation method without an additional coating process. The PSB incorporated cathode exhibits not only excellent electrochemical performance at high temperature and even at high cut‐off voltage, but also superior structural integrity after electrochemical tests. These results can effectively contribute to the development of high energy lithium‐ion batteries.
