Abstract

Abstract : In article number1602285, Sergey Shleev, Lo Gorton, and co‐workers report on a novel concept of supercapacitive photobioanodes and bio‐solar cells (photo‐biosupercapacitors). Employment of a charge‐storing component facilitates the electron transfer processes occurring in the system and significantly increases the photocurrent output. This strategy may become a significant step forward in the development of efficient and stable photo‐biodevices.
