Abstract

Abstract : A facile and versatile spatially‐confined Ostwald ripening strategy based on the chemical instability of metal cyanides (MCs) has been developed to synthesize a series of three‐dimensional graphene (3DG) wrapped MC aerogels. The successful integration of MCs into 3DG with such unique encapsulated structures ensures the efficient electron and ion transport throughout the whole electrode, paving the way for MCs as high‐performance electrode materials for electrochemical applications, such as cathode materials for sodium ion batteries with significantly improved rate performance and cycling stability.
