- Abstract : The cover picture shows a novel intramolecular cosensitization strategy to yield panchromatic dyes for dye‐sensitized solar cells. The concept exploits the complementary properties of two properly selected dipolar D–π–A‐containing units that are embedded in the same π‐conjugated multibranched chromophore. The result is a multidonor–multiacceptor/anchoring tribranched asymmetric dye that combines the properties of the two side units within the same molecular system, with enhanced tailored optical and energetic properties and, eventually, photovoltaic performances.
