- Abstract: Superelastic Ti-Zr-based alloys were produced by vacuum arc remelting (VAR) method. Ti-22Nb-6Zr was chosen as reference alloy. Experimental specimens were subjected to the following thermomechanical treatment (TMT): cold rolling (CR) with a true logarithmic strain of e = 0.3 and post-deformation annealing (PDA) at 600°C or 700°C (30 min). X-Ray diffraction analysis was carried at room temperature (RT) and T=-160 °C. X-ray data obtained allowed to evaluate alloys' recovery strain resource. It was shown that resource of Ti-Zr-based alloys was twice as high than that for the reference Ti-22Nb-6Zr alloy. Niobium affects εmax stronger than tantalum since εmax of 18-11-3 alloy is by 1% larger than that for 18-14 alloy.
