Abstract

Abstract : To communicate at a distance, all cells dynamically release biomolecule‐loaded nano‐sized bubbles called exosomes. Cancer cells tweak these packages for nefarious ends, like aiding metastasis. In article number1600038, Randy P. Carney, Kit S. Lam, and co‐workers provide evidence that a synthetic peptide binds to proteins found more at the surface of some types of tumor cells and their released exosomes, which prove useful for new cancer‐screening diagnostics or treatment.
