Abstract

Abstract : A flexible segment transparent OLED display (T‐OLED) with FlexUP TM technology was demonstrated in this paper. Our monochromatic T‐OLED with transparent cathode structure Mg:Ag/HATCN/IZO can reach transmittance of 64.2%. Also, a flexible electrochromic (EC) shutter as a light‐blocking layer was placed behind the T‐OLED to enhance ambient contrast ratio. Total transmittance of T‐OLED/EC system is 54.2%. This T OLED/EC system can be used as information displays in curved windows like windshield even in a high brightness environment.
