- Highlights: Long duration of METH use caused high prevalence of depressive symptoms and impulsivity. Positive relationship between depressive symptoms and impulsivity happened during subacute METH withdrawal. Chronic METH abusers need more attention and treatment after withdrawal than initial abusers.
