Abstract

Abstract : The front cover illustrates the concept of integrated freestanding monolayer (1‐L) of two‐dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), as described in article number1700308 by Gilles Lerondel and co‐workers. Very bright emission is achieved thanks to the absence of stress over the whole flake as a result of very limited point contacts between the TMDs monolayer and the ZnO nanorods used here as a support.
