Abstract

Abstract : The cover picture shows a light beam directed at a tumor. As a result of light irradiation, a photolabile ruthenium complex releases the anticancer agent 6‐mercaptopurine. This enables cancer therapy to be delivered exactly where it is needed, making it possible to use a smaller dose and limiting danger to healthy tissue. Details are discussed in the article by A. K.
