Abstract

Abstract : The back cover picture shows how a ntibody phage display libraries and DNA‐encoded chemical libraries bear an obvious similarity. In both cases, large combinatorial libraries are selected for the discovery of binding molecules, which selectively recognize a target protein of interest. Once these molecules have been physically separated from the rest of the library (e.g., by capture on the protein of interest, immobilized on a solid support), they can be identified by the corresponding DNA tag ("genotype").
