- Abstract : Amines were prepared by a reductive amination reaction in the presence of calcium hydride and Pt/C. Abstract : Amines were prepared by a reductive amination reaction in the presence of calcium hydride and Pt/C. The in situ formation of water seems to be the key to activate CaH2 to reduce the intermediate imine.
