- Abstract : Super acid is efficiently released from a self-contained photoacid generator based on a triangle terarylene backbone upon photoinduced 6π-electrocyclization reactions. Abstract : A self-contained photoacid generator for super acid along with the photoinduced 6π-electrocyclization reaction of the terarylene backbone is demonstrated. The photoinitiated cationic polymerization of epoxy-monomers is achieved with an efficient photochemical quantum yield, Φ acid = 0.47.
