- Graphical abstract: Highlights: Bithyniidae freshwater snails from Kamphong Cham province in Cambodia were studied on liver fluke infection. Cercariae belonged to Opisthorchis viverrini confirmed by morphological and molecular analysis. Study confirms O. viverrini transmission in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia.
