- Abstract : A flexible, magnetic-field controlled patterning method of water soluble proteins or other functional materials has been developed based on superhydrophobic platforms. Abstract : Inspired by the rolling of water droplets on lotus leaves, we developed a novel, magnetic field-controlled patterning method for water-soluble proteins and other functional materials on superhydrophobic platforms. This simple method can be used to fabricate biochips and open micro-fluidic devices in a simple way.
