Abstract

Abstract : A zinc borate Zn(1, 3-DAP)[B4 O7 ] (1 ) was prepared.1 possessed a rare chiral zeolitic framework based on a [B4 O9 ] cluster. The combination of a [B4 O9 ] cluster and Zn(1, 3-DAP)O3 chain produced a helical ribbon motif and gave rise to a single-stranded helical channel.
