- Abstract : A series of novel heteroleptic copper photosensitizers was prepared and investigated with respect to their photocatalytic performance. In this context a strong impact of the extended π‐system on the light‐driven reduction of protons could be observed. The origin of this behavior was studied by a combination of different photophysical and electrochemical techniques, which revealed a connection with the excited state lifetime. More information can be found in the Full Paper by M. Karnahl et al. onpage 312 ff.
