Abstract

Abstract : Highly efficient enantiomeric discrimination of chiral amines by fluorescent Zn–salen receptors is reported for the first time. Abstract : The first example of fluorescent chiral Zn–salen hosts, able to efficiently recognise chiral amines via non-covalent interactions, is reported here. The host–guest interactions have been characterised by 2D-NMR spectroscopy in order to elucidate the origin of enantioselectivity.
