- Abstract : The steric hindrance and electronic push–pull effect greatly influence the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties of 2, 3-diphenylbenzo[ b ]thiophene S, S -dioxide. Abstract : New aggregation-induced emission (AIE) luminogens with high solid-state emission efficiencies are developed by adopting a benzo[ b ]thiophene S, S -dioxide core, and steric and electronic effects on the AIE property are elucidated.
