Abstract

Abstract: A straightforward synthetic entry to the principal classes of electrophilic trifluoromethylthiolating agents is presented. It draws on inexpensive, shelf‐stable tetramethylammonium trifluoromethylthiolate (Me4 N–SCF3 ) as the SCF3 source in the place of stoichiometric coinage metal‐SCF3 complexes. Abstract :
