- ABSTRACT: The curriculum of the first occupational therapy programme in Zambia has been developed in partnership with people from different cultural backgrounds, different disciplines and different educational and work/clinical backgrounds. There are many challenges to such a partnership and this case study will highlight how the partnership met such challenges and, most importantly, the personal qualities and group dynamics that supported the process and enabled individual members to stay motivated and energised. Finally, reflections are shared on what has been learnt through the work of curriculum development for an occupational therapy programme in Zambia.
