- Abstract : A smart two-component gelator system was prepared by a combination of two good gelators based on sorbitol-appended compounds. Abstract : A smart two-component gelator system was prepared by a combination of two good gelators based on sorbitol-appended compounds. The obtained two-component gels exhibit an effective thermal stabilization and dramatic gelation properties, which can be tuned by changing the proportion of gelators.
