Abstract

Abstract : The essay aims to elucidate a scientific account of value. Crucial to this is the analysis of abstract labour as the source and substance of value. The first part of the essay is devoted to my analysis of what abstract labour actually is. The latter part of the essay draws out some significant contrasts from my analysis, by way of comparison, with the perspective of abstract labour put forward by I.I. Rubin.
