Abstract

Highlights: A meta-analysis was conducted to assess the association between HDL and diabetic nephropathy in type 1 diabetes. Ten papers containing 7698 participants were included in this meta-analysis. Our meta-analysis suggest higher HDL is a protective factor in the progression of diabetic nephropathy in type 1 diabetes. Abstract: A meta-analysis was conducted to assess the impact of HDL on risk of diabetic nephropathy in T1DM patients. Ten papers containing (7698) participants were included in this meta-analysis. Our meta-analysis suggest that the risk of diabetic nephropathy was decreased with HDL in type 1 diabetes.
