- Abstract : White-light-emitting phosphors were prepared by encapsulating C460 dye into mixed lanthanide MOFs with high quantum yields. WLEDs were fabricated using UV-LED chips and these MOF-based phosphors. Abstract : In this work, lanthanide metal–organic frameworks with high quantum yields are used to generate phosphors for white-light-emitting diodes (WLEDs). The fluorescent colour of these phosphors can be tuned by the different combinations of the ratio of Eu 3+ /Tb 3+ and the content of encapsulated coumarin 460 dye in these complexes. Further, prototype WLEDs were fabricated by coating these phosphors on commercial ultraviolet LED chips.
