Abstract

Abstract : Review question/objective: The objective of this review is to synthesize evidence on the experiences of community health workers (CHWs) of mobile device-enabled clinical decision support systems (CDSSs) interventions designed to support maternal newborn and child health (MNCH) in low-and middle-income countries. Specific objectives: To identify the perceived benefits and barriers of using mobile device-enabled CDSSs. To identify the deficiencies in mobile device-enabled CDSSs as perceived by CHWs. To understand how these systems affect CHWs work patterns based on behavioral change theories.
