Abstract

Abstract : A new titanium dioxide (TiO2 ) pigment is available to formulators across the plastics industry, thanks to the development expertise of Huntsman's scientists, the company reports. Tioxide ® TR48 offers excellent coloristic properties, and has been engineered to process well, even at high temperatures, Huntsman claims. The product has been designed as part of the Tioxide TR28 family [ ADPO, October 2001], which has a well-established record of excellent processing performance in a wide range of plastics systems, according to the company.
