Abstract

Abstract: The title mesocrystals (polycrystals of oriented nanocrystals) are prepared via a soft chemical topotactic reaction using solvothermally prepared layered K4 Nb6 O17 plate like particles that are first acidified by dilute HNO3 for 24 h and then subjected to an ion exchange in 0.3 M AgNO3 (24 h) which is followed by calcination in air (600 °C, 2 h).
