Highlights: Compliance to elastic compression stockings (ECS) can affect treatment efficacy of PTS. Children with PTS were interviewed to explore barriers to ECS compliance. Less than half of the twenty children interviewed wore their ECS as instructed. Identified barriers and facilitators can help clinicians understand ECS compliance.
