- Abstract : The unique electronic, mechanical, and thermal properties of graphene are combined with the plasmonic properties of gold nanoparticle (AuNP) dimers, which are assembled using DNA origami nanostructures, as presented by I. Bald and co‐workers on page 5458. This novel hybrid structure provides superior surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) performance due to efficient fluorescence quenching, and reduced background and photobleaching.
