Abstract:: Abstract: Small single crystals of La15 Ge9 Li1.50 (I) and La7 Ge3 (II) are obtained by solid state reaction of a 15:9:2 (7:3) molar mixture of the elements (Nb ampoule in evacuated silica tubes, 1080 °C, 5 h).
