- Abstract: An unprecedented [2 + 2] cycloaddition of in situ generated ketenes with 1‐(2, 4, 6‐triisopropylphenyl)ethyl substituted enol ethers provides a synthesis of cyclobutanones with good to excellent diastereoselectivity.
