- Abstract : Atomically thin black phosphorus (BP) has attracted increasing interest owing to its unique electronic and optical properties, yet its application is hampered by its poor air and water stability. In their Communication onpage 5003 ff., X.‐F. Yu, P. K. Chu, and co‐workers designed a titanium sulfonate ligand to coordinate with BP to prevent oxidation. The coordinated BP surface exhibited robust stability in air and water, thereby extending the lifetime and spurring broader applications of BP.
