Abstract

Abstract: This paper uses the incremental capital-output ratio to analyze the trend of urbanization investment efficiency of Sichuan Province in China. Furthermore, this paper uses The Data Envelopment Analysis method and the Malmquist index to study the industry differences of urbanization investment efficiency of Sichuan Province in China. We use the data from 2000 to 2014 to do empirical research. The research results show that, (1) the urbanization investment efficiency of Sichuan Province is lower than that of China's average level. Form 2000 to 2008, the urbanization investment efficiency of Sichuan Province is gradually reducing. But from 2008 to 2014, it is gradually increasing. (2) The urbanization investment efficiency in Sichuan Province increases, and the average annual growth rate was 6.9%. There are 14 industries whose urbanization construction investment efficiency increase, but there are 5 industries whose urbanization construction investment efficiency decrease.
