Abstract

Abstract : French speciality chemicals major Arkema has developed a new modifier specifically designed for the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) strapping that is increasingly used for reinforcing carton packaging, to facilitate handling and transport. The company has also extended its range of reactive polyolefins with two new grades to fine-tune the properties of thermoplastic polyesters and polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) compounds.
