Abstract

Abstract : S. J. Liu, T. Zhang, H. Y. Liu, and co‐workers develop a multifunctional theranostic platform based on mesoporous carbon nanospheres containing porphyrin‐like metal centers (PMCS). The black PMCS nanoparticles show exceptionally high photothermal conversion efficiency and comparable singlet oxygen ( 1 O2 ) quantum yield. As described on page 8379, because of the promising photothermal/photodynamic properties of PMCS, its utilization as a platform for imaging guided precise conformal phototherapy is anticipated.
