Abstract

Abstract: The use of social media platforms for inter-company employee interactions of suppliers and acquirers in the supply chain is an effective and efficient tool. The social media application related to Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) has potential risks with the transmission of proprietary information between organizations. Currently there are not published recommendations for Social Media Supply Chain Risk Management (SM-SCRM). The paper takes the first step in providing a risk management framework for organizations to implement inter-communication access controls within the supply chain based on NIST IR 7622 Notional Supply Chain Risk Management for employee interaction.
