- Abstract: Multi‐substituted 8‐aminoimidazo[1, 2‐a]pyrazine substrates (I) efficiently prepared by a modified Groebke—Blackburn—Bienayme reaction, undergo a Pd‐catalyzed cyclization to form the rare (Z)‐4, 5‐dihydro‐3H‐[1, 3]diazocine system.
