Abstract

Abstract: We report a patient with non‐Down syndrome AML, also known as AMKL, with monosomy 7, who was also obese and had a hearing impairment and mental retardation. Non‐myeloablative bone marrow transplantation was performed successfully after the patient received less aggressive azacitidine treatment, without the usual intensive induction chemotherapy regimen for AML.
