Abstract

Abstract : The combination of electrooxidation and photooxidation efficiently decomposes the high‐energy triplets of emitters, which is the main reason for the unavailablilty of stable blue thermally activated delayed fuorescence (TADF) OLEDs. The lightning represents photooxidation and the stream represents electrooxidation. The process of electrooxidation and photooxidation in TADF emitters can be suppressed though molecule design and device engineering, as reported by C. Adachi and co‐workers on page 7620. Finally, the sky‐blue TADF OLEDs realize an increase of three orders of magnitude in device lifetime following these principles.
