Abstract : Understanding the enrollment data and projections for your campus can help with just about everything: scheduling classrooms, understanding true and projected enrollment yields, and accurately reporting retention and graduation rates for federal compliance, for example. In addition, accurately predicting summer melt and the diversity of students can be critical to meeting enrollment targets. Kevin Pinkston, Ph.D., director of enrollment analytics at the University of Illinois at Chicago, shared tips that help him accurately predict enrollment yield for his university.
