- Abstract: The synthesis of the axially chiral natural dermocanarin 2 features the construction of the anthraquinone and naphthoquinone onto an axially chiral biphenyl intermediate followed by a stereoselective aldol reaction for the implementation of the stereogenic center in the side chain.
