Abstract

Abstract: An asymmetric carbene cascade reaction, which proceeds through a carbene/alkyne metathesis and a formal [3+2] cycloaddition and converts alkynyl‐tethered enol diazoacetates to chiral bicyclic cyclopentadienes, is presented.
