Abstract

Abstract : Review question/objective: This review aims to identify and synthesize the effectiveness of multisensory stimulation in managing neuropsychiatric symptoms in older adults with major neurocognitive disorder. More specifically, this review focuses on the following questions: what are the effects of multisensory stimulation in managing neuropsychiatric symptoms such as delusion, hallucination, agitation, aggression, mood liability, anxiety, apathy, motor disturbances, night-time behavior and eating disorders in elderly patients with major neurocognitive disorder?
