- Abstract: The dynamic kinetic resolution of hydroxypyranones with enals or alkynals through an asymmetric redox esterification is catalyzed by a new indanol‐derived triazolium catalyst to furnish esters in good to high yields with high levels of enantio‐ and diastereocontrol.
