Abstract

Abstract: The addition of InBr3 to the oxidative Sonogashira reaction of aryl acetylenes (I) and (V) with silane (II) leads to a dramatic increase in reactivity to afford the corresponding 1, 3‐enynes (III) and (VI), respectively.
