Abstract

Abstract : Polymorphs1b /1c show unusual sensitive and reversible thermo-stimulus solid-state fluorescence-colour/on–off switching in different temperature ranges. Abstract : Two polymorphs of a tetrahydropyrimidine-based fluorophore with aggregation-induced emission characteristics show unusual sensitive and reversible thermo-stimulus solid-state fluorescence-switching, and can be used as a new type of fluorescence-ratiometric/on–off thermometer in different temperature ranges when excited at different red-edge excitation wavelengths.
